A character of mine not seen since that ridiculous space pirate line-up.
I would like to present Mietkin, aka Meev, an intergalactic pop superstar with a giant ego and a love for glamour. Why yes, I can do traditional art. I'm just uh.. a bit rusty. (Truth be told, it's probably been about two years since I've seriously worked with color on paper) Also, my apologies for the atrocious scan and weird orange. I haven't set up my scanner at home so I'm just using the printer/scanner combo I left here. The background was going to be an attempt at some collage elements but seriously I am just sick of this. Those oranges aren't as weird on paper. Inked: .005 + .02 + .05 Sakura Micron pens Colored: Prismacolor + Roseart + Prang colored pencils Cut out from cardstock with an Xacto knife and then I taped a piece of orange paper to the back.
