So, the story goes that I've owed ~zandan an art trade since about this time last year. The theme was Victorian fashion and my intent was to draw two of her characters together in the same picture.
A year later I've given up that endeavor (after many a failed composition) and instead will be drawing the two characters seperately. This here is the first part out of two.

Sketch is old, drawn before I got out of school, but I still like it. Thus, I inked and colored it all in one sitting today.
I think it turned out pretty alright, though her dress isn't exactly 100% Victorian, but when I drew it I didn't have a reference. I have definitely missed doing real coloring, and I'm obviously still a bit rusty, but that was a hell of a lot of fun.

Oh man. Oh man. This is haaawesome. XD I totally love this, with the colors and the background and her HAIR looks so PRETTY and OH MAN THE LOVELY. No for reals. the costuming is awesome and the coloring is magnificent, as it always is!
